Re: OFFICIAL: Rutten to Coach 2021

For this to work you would hope that Game plan adjustments to suit Rutten's vision start immediately. No point in going through 2020 playing Worsfolds game plan only to have it dismantled and started again when Rutten takes over. If this isn't the case we may have 2 outcomes, either 2020 is another...

Re: Essendon Rumour Mill

Frankly I am indifferent re Joe. We will land 2 draft picks in the top 10 and free up 750K in the salary cap for a juicy Free Agent in the long run we will be better for it on the other hand if we keep him and he has a stellar career...that's ok too JD is on 666K We will lose on this deal big time....

Re: Begley

Tough audience...kid has just come off a knee reco and has barely played a dozen games. I get the feeling but let's at least give him a chance. Couldn't be worse than Langord and Laverde who have each been given 5 seasons to show something Hasn’t got it. Yeah but then if you compare his first 3 gam...

Langford spotted doing coffee with Essendon officials.

Have we room for two?

Re: Australia v England (ASHES) 2019 in England

Refresh my memory. Can Smithy get the jib back and if so,when? If not,Finchy’s a good choice.Imagine the deadset Whingeing in the West though,if Aaron did get the nod? I don’t think Smudge can captain for a couple of years at least. Lemme guess, Perthonians reckon Shaun or Mitch Marsh should...

Re: Australia v England (ASHES) 2019 in England

I said at the start of this test not picking Starc was dumb. Keeping Warner was just as bad. Bowling first on a dry deck with the worlds best offie on hand... All conspired to stuff us up this game. Paine is an average captain at best... Australia have NFC when to review a decision...like having 4 ...

Re: VFL Essendon 2019

What a limp effort that was. The sort of effort we actually come to expect. No intensity whatsoever at the contest - best described as SOFT. Today showed it was times up for Baggers. Great clubman and all that, but just way too slow even at VFL level. Myers. FMD. What a feeble, soft effort that was ...

Haha, love the thread title =D>

It boggles the mind. August 20. And we find out now?

I think every player from every team participating in finals should be tested prior to or post game.
