Who's on modified training?

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

...Snelling is eyeing off a return from his minor foot injury next week when the VFL side kicks off its finals campaign.

“Will’s tracking well, he’s running and building back up. He’ll be aiming towards the first VFL final.”

A sublaxation - not sure of spelling and can't be bothered to look it up.
Only upside is it's not the same shoulder he injured 6 weeks ago.
Downside is that he now has 2 suspect shoulders!
A difficult task to be available in 2 weeks though.

His left AC joint should be good and strong now.
Sublax v sublux is likely a better description as the small joint is lax and the capsule spreads but doesn't dislocate.
If it's minor gr1 then there have been players return within a fortnight, heavily strapped. Not ideal of course and finals footy can provide a strong test.
He'll need to work on maintaining the joint mobility asap.

In his post-game chat last night Mark Harvey said they were more optimistic than their first thoughts, and was pretty hopeful Hurley would be OK in a fortnight.

AFL site...
ESSENDON has been hit with some fresh injury concerns heading into September but is hopeful of regaining a host of key players for its elimination final clash with West Coast.
...
Hurley suffered a dislocated shoulder during the second term and took no further part in the game.
Coach John Worsfold said while Hurley would have scans, the club was unlikely to know immediately if the injury would rule him out of the club's finals campaign.
...
... Aaron Francis, who copped an ankle knock in the second quarter but managed to play out the game.
In better news for Essendon fans, the club expects to be regain stars Dyson Heppell (foot), Orazio Fantasia (hip), Jake Stringer (soreness), and Cale Hooker (illness) for their do-or-die clash with the Eagles.
Let's stay with a low grade subluxation for Hurls. [-o< Francis has 10 days to sort the ankle. :)

Speaking of modified training.....
Can the club please please make our players hit the gym big-time in the off-season? So many skinny blokes.
