Kyle Languid

Was a disappointing footnote in an otherwise great team effort.

Slow, cumbersome and poor skills.

Starting to wonder what he brings to the table.

With Begley looking a solid half forward option, Kyle will need to show a little more if hes to keep his place.

Jury still out. He's 20 so still has time to make it. Did some dumb things last night, no doubt. He's got similar attributes to Blumfield and Caracella. Needs to have the same impact they did at his age - otherwise there are a number of folks waiting to get a crack behind him.

Definitely in the bottom few of performers on the night, but given the win, I'm prepared to give him another go.
Who surprised me was Baguley, had a very solid first half in particular.

How old is he? Give him a bit of time. If we wrote off every bloke at 20 we'd never see the likes of Jobe Watson and Cale Hooker on the list. Didn't he play a very good game at the end of 2016?

Apologies.

I thought the disrespect you showed by calling him "Languid" was a statement of contempt for him.

He will prove you very wrong. Didn't have a good game last night but I can see a lot of upside.

Yes there is.

However selection should be based on skill and execution.

Cuteness is a given 8)

Give me me the above but more importantly mongrel and aggression - which I think Francis and Leverde deliver.

Langford is being given a new role this year through the middle. He will take time to get used to it.

All we heard last year was how he was getting midfield time because of the suspensions.

I thought he looked good in the last game last year as a forward, but mostly have been disappointed. He always looks lost (that might just be his face) and he seems to get caught with the ball 5 times a game.

Nope, languid is simply the way he comes across.

He's gotta drop doing the dumb things. Running into goal and f****** it up was embarrassing. Lucky he kicked one a bit later. Shoulda got a free kick and another shot on goal if it wasn't for some horse shit umpiring.

Does need to lift his game a bit. Just needs to convert these easy chances and he's on the way to being a solid contributor.

I saw him standing in the middle a lot last year.
