Rnd 22. Essendon vs Fremantle

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

Good luck young man. =D>

I love Hooker's passion and endeavour but the club has finally faced the fact he effectively cant run and is quite immobile with his back issue.

With he and Heppell pretty much in the same boat with his foot and Z Clarke who is like the opposition having another player no wonder we were slaughtered in that way.

Now for the late change of Tom Jok into the rock for Zlarke.

Grassy I love you!! You mustve willed 'em over the line. You're the only one who kept the faith. Or is it the local Fremantle brew that did it? :D :D :D =D> =D> =D>

I feel like I entered the twilight zone, where even with the maggots best efforts against us (23-9 free kick count) we still managed to play some 'good' football. Well done to the team, now I will dare to hope for some consistency. =D> =D>

Really good attack on the football tonight. Forward line extremely functional, the run and carry from half back returned.

Stoked that we’re booked for finals. Let’s hope it’s in Victoria

Great reversal of the disaster of last week.

Langford nailing those two goals was fantastic.

Heppell said when they crack in around the ball they play better. That seems to be the way of this team.

Rover my friend,Sport has a funny way Of making you smile,or making your beer taste Awfull when your team’s lose!

I tipped the South Australian Teams,But they fell flat on their Faces and Arse!

I wonder what spillage my watering hole will get from a couple of clicks up the train track?

A lot of sorry arsed Dorkers Supporters and a few Jubilant Bombers supporters.

I’d better text one of them by the way.

Allegedly a groin issue this week. But whatever it is/was, BZT did enough to allow Hooksey a 2 week rest before finals.

Could barely wait for your reaction BD :)
And he did OK. Played a role. Which was enough to allow Hurley to .....do what Hurley does best.

Really happy with the win. And the endeavour that made it happen.
But I'm not convinced we really turned the corner.
If Freo didn't turn it over so much going into 50, we'd have been in trouble.
And f*** me, what was going on in the first 15 minutes of the last quarter?? Playing like we were 5 points down with 30 seconds to go.

BZT did good - removed Zacha. Unfortunately didn't remove ZClarke... (next week young man)

Difference between good Essendon and Bad Essendon... Saad,

Joke of the match... Clarke spraying from 15m out straight in front... FFS

Saad is so important to us. Reckon he'll get the Crichton.
As he was lining up I said Clarke would miss that goal...simply because of his grip on the ball.....soooo crooked it had no chance. At least Sandilands missed one just as bad - maybe he taught Zac how to kick during their time together at Freo? :)
